Overview of the tour
Part 1 - Fisherman village Karuč
The tour starts in Podgorica. We head to the idyllic fisherman village Karuč, where we make our first big stop. Karuč is famous for its beautiful ambient, nature and historical significance. The old house of Petar I Petrović Njegoš, Montenegro's greatest ruler, bishop and poet, is located here.

Part 2 - Panoramic views from Pavlova Strana
After visiting Karuč village we head to Rijeka Crnojevića. On our way we will visit a fantastic place called Pavlova Strana which you will probably recognise from the postcards! This is definitely a spot with best views over the Skadar Lake where you can take memorable photos!

Part 3 - Rijeka Crnojevića
We reach Rijeka Crnojevića – an old Montenegrin fisherman village with a long tradition and huge historical significance. The story of this village begins in 15th century, when then ruler, Ivan Crnojević transferred the seat of the state and the church to this area. There you will visit the symbol of this place - Danilov most (Danilo's bridge) built by the Montenegrin prince Danilo who dedicated it to his father.

Part 4 - Village Poseljani
Our trip continues through beautiful local and traditional villages, Poseljani and Komarno. Poseljani is a hidden jewel of this area. The village is located on the edge of the lake and is famous for its beautiful stone bridges and waterfalls. The old rural road which leads to these villages is very interesting and unique, and offers great views over the picturesque area covered by stone.

Part 5 - The best lookouts
As we continue our way to Virpazar, you will have the chance to enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view over the Skadar Lake, Prokletije mountains and even parts of Albania. These lookouts are the best places to take pictures for a lifetime! On arrival we will visit the Bešac castle, built in the 15th century and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
