Part 1 - Boat ride across the biggest lake on Balkan Peninsula

We start our trip from Herceg Novi through Kotor and Budva towards Virpazar. On arrival to Virpazar, we head to the port of Skadar Lake, the biggest lake on Balkan peninsula, where we take a 2-hour boat ride. Skadar Lake is famous for being Europe's largest bird reserve, the last remaining breeding ground of the endangered Dalmatian Pelican and Pygmy Cormorant. It is also a key resting place for birds migrating from northern Europe to Africa.
