General info

Big and Small Škrčko lakes are located in the center of Durmitor National Park at an altitude of 1700-1730 m above sea level. These two lakes are among the highest and most inaccessible water surfaces in the Durmitor National Park.

They are surrounded by mountain peaks on three sides, one of them being the highest in Montenegro - Bobotov Kuk. They are often called "Green lakes" because of their greenish color.

These exceptionally beautiful glacial lakes, hidden among the peaks of the Durmitor Mountain, will leave you speechless!
