Skrcka lakes (Veliko and Malo-big and small) are located in the center of Durmitor National Park at an altitude of 1700 m. These two lakes are among the highest and most inaccessible water surfaces in the Durmitor National Park. They are surrounded by mountain peaks on three sides, one of them being the highest in Montenegro - Bobotov Kuk. They are often called "Green lakes" because of their greenish color.
Arriving from Zabljak to Todorov do, we pack our equipment and start the tour at 9:30 AM.
The starting point of this tour is at an altitude of 1800 m. We continue on a hike over the ridge (Skrcko Zdrijelo) at 2100 meters above sea level.
