Meeting with your guide in Podgorica for a transfer to Žabljak. On arrival, we head on a guided walking tour around the main attraction of Durmitor National Park - the Black Lake. This will be an easy educational walk with lots of information about the national park, as also viewpoints to take photos. Lunch at one of the local restaurants. Check in at the accommodation and free time in the evening to explore the center and prepare for the next days.
After breakfast, it's time for an exciting biking tour to the best lookouts. This will be a 3-4 hour e-bike tour suitable for all levels. The tour includes a visit to Ćurevac, a popular lookout point on the edge of Tara river canyon, from where we will have a beautiful view over the Sušica canyon. After we rest on the mountain benches, we continue to climb up through the forest road to Štuoc. The mountain Štuoc consists of Mali Štuoc and Veliki Štuoc, through which the mountain road passes. Our break will be at Zminje Lake, hidden in the depths of the forest before we continue to Black Lake and back to the meeting point. This tour can be replaced with a horse riding instead, if desired.
The third day is reserved for a 4-hour rafting adventure on Tara river. Pick up at your accommodation for a half hour drive to Đurđevića Tara where your rafting adventure begins. The rafting tour along Tara canyon will take about 4 hours and is 30 km long. Each raft is accompanied by a licensed guide to navigate and coach participants. All necessary rafting and safety equipment is provided, including sterilized neoprene wetsuits and boots, a safety helmet and life vest. A well deserved lunch at the camp will be the perfect time to sum up your impressions before continuing back. If you like, here you have the option to try the longest zip line in Europe for an additional cost. Back to Žabljak.
Today we will hike to one of the most popular peaks in Durmitor National Park - Crvena Greda (2164m). This tour is considered as a light hike and ends up with spectacular views from the plateau at the top. From there, we will see Žabljak, Vražje Lake, Black Lake and many peaks of the Durmitor massif. During our descent, we will visit picturesque Jablan lake. This hike can also be replaced with a lighter one from Black Lake to Jablan Lake.
