OLIVE QUEEN – OLIVE OIL AND WINE TASTING

For over two thousand years, people in the coastal region of Montenegro have produced some of the finest olive oils in the world. Driven by a passion for tradition and excellence, olive oil production has been passed down from generation to generation.

Only 3 km from the center of Bar, in the area of ​​small Kuril, you will visit the olive grove of Novaković family, with more than 80 olive trees. This tradition lasts now for almost two centuries (1861) and continues. In addition to the above-mentioned olive grove, little Kurilo has many other olive trees owned by the Novaković Brotherhood, which stretches along the entire area. This whole area is known for its olive groves, especially for the autochthonous variety so-called "Barska žutica" also called "The Queen of Olives" - hence the name of this family business.
