General info

Tara River Canyon

Tara River Canyon is 1333 meters deep, which makes it world's second deepest canyon. It’s fascinating just by itself, isn’t it? And now imagine that you fly over that natural phenomenon only hanging from a zip line cable that can reach a speed up to 120 km/h (70 mph). Zip Line across Canyon Tara is classed as one of the fastest in the world.

Djurdjevica Tara Bridge
The construction of this impressive concrete arch bridge, designed by Mijat Trojanovic, commenced in 1937, opening to the public, in all its beauty, in 1940. The bridge holds the record for the largest wooden scaffolding in the world, and is comprised of five arches, the largest spanning 116m!

Zip line Tara

Overview of the tour

The zip line is located beside the Djurdjevica Tara bridge. The flight over Durmitor takes you over the canyon, dense forestry and the gushing Tara River – adding a dose of adrenaline to sight-seeing from a unique perspective, making it personal to the beholder.

Safety is our priority and we are proud to provide certified safety equipment from leading manufacturers to ensure an impeccable zip line experience.
