Overview of the tour 

Day 1 - Piva Nature Park

Our first day begins with a scenic drive from Podgorica to the charming town of Plužine, on the shores of Piva Lake, the largest artificial lake in Montenegro. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and lush forests, this stunning area is part of the protected Piva Nature Park. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat tour across the crystal-clear lake, with panoramic views of Montenegro’s wild north. We’ll also stop for a break and a chance to swim in the refreshing water.After lunch, you can choose an optional adrenaline experience — Montenegro’s longest zipline. In the late afternoon, we check in to our accommodation and enjoy some free time to relax.

Day 2 - Tara River Rafting

Breakfast and departure to Šćepan Polje, the starting point of our exciting rafting adventure on the legendary Tara River. After a short briefing and getting equipped, we begin an unforgettable ride through wild nature, fresh mountain air, and pure adrenaline. The rafting route is 16 km long and lasts around 6 hours, with stops along the way for rest, photos, and enjoying the stunning canyon scenery.After rafting, we enjoy a well-deserved lunch with a view of the Tara Canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world. In the afternoon, we continue to Žabljak, check in, and stay overnight in the heart of Durmitor National Park.

Day 3 - Durmitor National Park

The third day is dedicated to the highlights of Durmitor National Park — the famous Black Lake (Crno jezero) and the panoramic viewpoint Crvena Greda.We begin with a scenic hike to Crvena Greda (2,164 m), an accessible peak with breathtaking views over Žabljak, Black Lake, Vražje Lake, and the surrounding Durmitor mountains — perfect for unforgettable photos.After the hike, we stop for lunch and then enjoy a relaxing visit to Black Lake, with free time to walk along the shore and take in the peaceful forest scenery. The evening is free to explore Žabljak or relax.

Day 4 - National Park Biogradska Gora

Breakfast and check-out. We then head to the famous Đurđevića Tara Bridge for a photo stop, with an optional chance to try the zipline over the Tara Canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world.Afterwards, we continue to Biogradska Gora National Park, one of the last remaining virgin rainforests in Europe. There, we will also visit the beautiful Biogradsko Lake, a protected natural site.Lunch and overnight stay in Kolašin.

Day 5 - Bjelasica Hiking

Many consider Bjelasica to be the most beautiful mountain in Montenegro, famous for its gentle slopes, wide open meadows, and dense forests. This circular hiking tour takes you through some of the most scenic parts of the Bjelasica massif, offering a perfect mix of untouched nature, fresh mountain air, and panoramic views.We start from Vranjak katun, a traditional shepherd settlement surrounded by peaceful highland scenery. From there, the trail leads us through green pastures and forest paths, with plenty of photo stops along the way. Our main highlight is Pešića Lake, a beautiful glacial lake hidden in the mountains, where you’ll have time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the calm atmosphere of this pristine area. The hike is moderate and suitable for anyone with a basic level of fitness. It’s a great option for nature lovers who want an active day in the mountains without technical or difficult terrain.

Day 6 - Plav & Hridsko Lake Jeep Tour

Breakfast and check-out. We then drive for about 2 hours to Plav, enjoying scenic mountain views and traditional villages along the way.Upon arrival, we visit Plav Lake, the largest glacial lake in Montenegro, followed by a short walk and time to explore the charming town of Plav. Next, we head on a jeep adventure into the Prokletije Mountains to reach the stunning Hridsko Lake, one of Montenegro’s most beautiful and highest-altitude lakes — a perfect spot for photos and fresh mountain air.Afterwards, we return to Plav for lunch, check-in, and an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Prokletije National Park

The last day is dedicated to Prokletije National Park, Montenegro’s youngest park, also known as the “Balkan Alps.”We begin in the stunning Grebaje Valley and set off on a panoramic hike along mountain trails and ridgelines with spectacular views. During the hike, we reach Volušnica (1,879 m), Talijanka (2,057 m), and Popadija (2,056 m). The ascent takes around 3 hours, and the loop trail brings us back to Grebaje, with plenty of photo stops along the way. The route can be shortened or adjusted depending on the group and weather conditions. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 - Departure

  • Cancellation policy: Up to 60 days prior to arrival: no charge, 30–60 days prior to arrival: 50% charge and less than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% charge.
  • The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, road access, or the group’s fitness level, in order to ensure safety and the best possible experience.
