PRUTAŠ DURMITOR (2393m)

• Dobri do  - this is our starting point for the hike, during the next 2-3 hours with a total ascent of 650m over the 4km trail, we shall reach this magnificent, grass covered peak.
  This access is from the southern side via “Škrčko ždrijelo” (2114m) and is considered the best and easiest access to Prutaš. The trail from Šarban before the ascent towards Prutaš is mainly grassed terrain offering easy and relaxed hiking experience.
• Prutaš (2,393m) - Prutas got it's name from its cliffs called "Prutovi" which is the plural form of "Prut" meaning a twig or branch. "Prutaš" means - a mountain made of twigs.
• In front of Prutaš you will see the main and highest crest of Durmitor called "SOA NEBESKA" which means "Altar of the Sky". This 2 kilometres long and about 800 m high rocky wall contain three peaks - Bezimeni Vrh (2487 m), Bobotov Kuk (2523 m) and Djevojka/Soa (2440 m).
