Prepare for an inspiring journey through the very heart of southern Montenegro, where majestic mountains descend directly into the deep blue Adriatic Sea. This carefully crafted five-day tour offers a rare opportunity to experience contrasting landscapes in a short time — from swimming in warm, crystal-clear waters to enjoying breathtaking panoramic views high above the coast, often all within the same day.
We have selected the true highlights of the Montenegrin coast and combined them into a rich yet relaxed itinerary. The tour includes a visit to the UNESCO-protected Kotor, famous for its medieval walls and labyrinth-like old town, as well as the elegant maritime town of Perast, known for its baroque palaces and serene atmosphere. A scenic boat ride across the stunning Boka Bay reveals postcard-perfect views of the coastline, followed by a swim in the famous Blue Cave, one of Montenegro’s most iconic natural attractions.
The journey continues with time to explore the vibrant old town of Budva, where centuries of history blend with lively Mediterranean spirit. We end the tour in Bar, visiting the impressive Old Town of Bar — the largest open-air archaeological site in Montenegro, offering a fascinating insight into the country’s layered past.
Filled with dramatic landscapes, medieval architecture, rich cultural heritage, and authentic coastal traditions, this tour is an ideal way to discover the essence of southern Montenegro in a short but truly unforgettable experience.
Meeting in Herceg Novi, a town whose light, sea, and atmosphere have inspired many famous writers and artists over the centuries. We will explore the main cultural and historical landmarks of Herceg Novi’s Old Town, wandering through its stone streets and vibrant squares, followed by a short visit to the peaceful Savina Monastery, beautifully set among cypress trees and overlooking the sea. After visiting the monastery, we set off on a private boat tour, passing by the striking Mamula Island and the dramatic coastline of Cape Arza. The journey continues further along the coast to Zlatna Luka, a true hidden gem among Montenegro’s bays. Here, we take a relaxing break on a sandy beach with fine seabed sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, perfect for swimming and unwinding. After returning, check-in at the hotel and free evening to enjoy Herceg Novi at your own pace, stroll along the promenade, or relax by the sea and soak in the coastal atmosphere.

Check out and transfer to Kotor . On our way, we will visit Perast and its stunning island Lady of the Rocks. We will explore the town first and climb on top of the clock tower to see the whole bay which is magnificent. Then we take a boat to the island, famous for its interesting history and one of the most beautiful catholic churches in coastal Montenegro. On arrival to Kotor, we will leave our luggage at the hotel and head on a 2-hour city tour of Kotor Old town with a short hike to San Giovanni fortress - the symbol of Kotor. From above, we can see the whole bay of Kotor. During the walking tour we will explore the old town with visits to its most important sightseeing points: The Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, the Catholic Cathedral of St. Tryphon, the Maritime Museum and the multiple squares (called "pijacete"), each of which has its own story. Lunch time in one of the local restaurants. Optional: Via ferrata in Kotor .
