NEVIDIO CANYONING

Nevidio Canyon is one of the most famous and dramatic natural attractions in Montenegro, often described as one of the most impassable canyons in Europe. For decades it was considered completely unreachable, and it was only first successfully passed in 1965, which is why it still carries a special reputation among adventure lovers today. 

The Nevidio canyoning tour is a fast-paced adrenaline experience that takes you through a world of towering cliffs, cold mountain water, and spectacular rock formations shaped over thousands of years. The canyon is located around 25 km from Žabljak and stretches for 1,700 meters. In some sections it reaches more than 450 meters in depth, creating a unique feeling of entering a hidden, untouched world. Because of its discreet and hard-to-see entrance, locals named it “Nevidio”, meaning “unseen.”

During the tour, participants move through the canyon by combining swimming, climbing, jumping, and abseiling, depending on water levels and conditions. Expect narrow passages, waterfalls, deep pools, and a true sense of adventure from start to finish.
